The short version

I collect the minimum amount of information needed to provide my services. I don't sell your data. I don't spam you. If you have questions, email me.

Who I am

This site is operated by Will Lowrey through Brightlea Ventures LLC. When this policy says “I,” “me,” or “my,” it means Will Lowrey and Brightlea Ventures.

What I collect

  • Information you give me directly: your name, email, and anything you share when you book a call, sign up for a program, join the community, or send me a message.
  • Coaching fulfillment: if you buy coaching, I use the name and email from your paid invoice to send onboarding instructions and a private internal notification so I can follow up. Intake answers and uploaded materials are not included in that notification.
  • Job Search Plan information: your answers to the 13-question intake, including any resume bullets or career details you choose to paste.
  • Review materials: if you buy a personal review, I collect the resume PDF and LinkedIn profile URL you submit. Your LinkedIn URL is stored as text. This site does not automatically fetch or copy your LinkedIn profile.
  • Purchase fulfillment state: for the Job Search Plan, I store the checkout email and the latest completed funnel step so the private return link can take you back to the right place. The return token itself is stored as a one-way hash.
  • Basic analytics: page views, referral source, which buttons get clicked, and general device info. This helps me understand what's working on the site. I use PostHog (configured cookieless) and Vercel Analytics for aggregate, privacy-respecting measurement.
  • Advertising measurement, only with permission: if you choose “Allow measurement,” I use the Meta Pixel and Conversions API to record page views, offer views, checkout starts, and completed purchases. Meta may receive your IP address, browser information, Meta attribution cookies, purchase amount, and a one-way hashed version of the email used at checkout. I do not send Meta your intake answers, resume, LinkedIn materials, or generated plan.
  • Cookies: PostHog runs cookieless. If you allow advertising measurement, Meta may set cookies used for attribution and ad measurement. If you decline, the Meta Pixel does not load and no Meta advertising events are sent from this site.

How I use it

  • To provide coaching, programs, and community services
  • To generate a purchased Job Search Plan from the intake answers you submit
  • To let me personally review a submitted resume and LinkedIn profile when that review is part of your purchase
  • To send purchase confirmations, private return links, and the schedules, materials, or updates you requested
  • To improve the site and my services
  • To measure and improve Meta advertising, when you have allowed advertising measurement
  • To respond when you reach out

What I don't do

  • I don't sell your personal information. Ever.
  • I don't give advertising platforms your resume, intake answers, private documents, coaching notes, or generated plan.
  • I don't send unsolicited marketing emails. If you hear from me, it's because you signed up for something.

Third-party services

I use a few third-party tools to run my business: Calendly for scheduling, Vercel for hosting and analytics, PostHog for usage measurement, Meta for consent-based advertising measurement, Kit and Resend for email, Stripe for payments, Supabase for private database and file storage, Slack for coaching communication and private fulfillment alerts, and Anthropic to generate the $19 Job Search Plan from your intake answers. These providers process information on my behalf under their own privacy and security terms. I limit each service to the information needed for its role.

A resume PDF and LinkedIn URL submitted for the personal review are not currently sent to Anthropic or another AI model. I am the only human who reviews those materials. Infrastructure providers may still process or store them to operate the site.

If you complete the free Job Search Bottleneck Audit, I store your email, the option you selected for each question, and the result needed to reopen it. Resend delivers the private result link, and Kit manages the follow-up emails you requested. Your audit answers are not sent to Stripe, Meta, or Kit.

Storage and retention

Resume files are kept in a private Supabase storage bucket. Access is limited to the administrative review console, and any link created to open a resume expires after ten minutes. When you replace a resume, the system records the replacement and then attempts to remove the previous stored file.

I keep order records and service information for as long as needed to deliver what you bought, operate the business, resolve disputes, and meet legal or accounting obligations. The current system does not automatically delete review materials on a fixed schedule. You can ask me to delete your resume, LinkedIn URL, intake answers, or other personal information at any time, subject to records I must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

Your rights

You can ask me to show you what data I have about you, correct it, or delete it. Just email me. I'll handle it promptly and without hassle.

You can also change your Meta advertising measurement choice at any time. A new choice applies to future activity from this site.

Changes to this policy

If I make meaningful changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top. I won't make changes that reduce your privacy protections without giving you a heads-up.
